The Making of: A Nonsense Music Video
ghhghfhfgPart 1:
Initially, I wrote a nonsense poem sitting on the beach. Then it became a nonsense song:
Fat Cats, like to wear hats
Nice mice, like to play dice
Big pigs, like to eat figs
But lucky ducks like to…
Psch, psch, psch, psch, psch, psch…
Pucker up
Silly nonsense. The last line should end with ‘f*ck’. But doesn’t.
So, along with Kreshna, I have made this silly nonsense into a music video, mixing video with animation. The aim is just to see how it turns out. I suspect that MTV won’t be giving me a call anytime soon.
Before we start we need these things that we found lying around the house
- A ukulele
- A camera with video capabilities (my wife’s Lumix)
- Music recording software
- A microphone (mine looks like a lollipop)
- Adobe Flash
- A bald head
Note: I have not included ‘computer’ in this list. I assume you have one if you are reading this.
Then you need 5 ‘working’ days you are willing to waste making nonsense.
In a series (!?) of ANECDOTAL blog posts, I am going to set out how we did it.
PS: talent is optional
