EO Paris Chapter Board Handover - March 24, 2026: Preparing the Next Chapter of Leadership
March 24, 2026 - Members of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Paris Chapter gathered in Paris for the annual board handover meeting between the outgoing 2025-2026 leadership team and the incoming 2026-2027 board.
Held ahead of the upcoming Global Leadership Conference 2026 in Dublin, the session focused on leadership continuity, chapter growth, member engagement, and preparations for the upcoming chapter year.
More than an administrative transition, the meeting reflected EO Paris’ long-term commitment to structured entrepreneurial learning, trusted peer exchange, and international growth.
A Structured Transition of Leadership
The board handover meeting brought together outgoing and incoming leaders to align priorities, responsibilities, and strategic direction before the formal transition in June 2026.
The incoming leadership team is led by Guillaume Bakouch and includes:
- Guillaume Bakouch - President
- Maylis Lavau Malfroy - Chapter Manager
- Hubert Chartin - Accelerator Chair, succeeding Thanh-My DUONG
- Jason Barnard - Communications Chair, succeeding Alejandra Malo
- Aigoul Serikbaeva - Forum Chair
- Thierry Benita - Administration / Finance Chair
For Jason Barnard, the role reflects his growing involvement in the chapter’s communication strategy, international visibility, and long-term positioning within the global EO network.
Inside the Boardroom: Alignment Before Execution
The two-hour meeting focused on operational and strategic priorities designed to ensure a smooth transition between leadership teams.
Discussions included:
- Role handovers and leadership responsibilities
- Membership fee alignment for the upcoming year
- Member retention and Forum participation
- Planning for upcoming EO Paris learning events and strategic sessions
The discussions reinforced one of the defining principles of EO Paris: peer learning is not networking.
EO Paris continues to position itself as a structured entrepreneurial learning community where members openly exchange experiences, challenges, and insights in trusted environments built on long-term relationships.
The Core of EO: The Forum Model
At the center of the EO experience is the Forum model - confidential groups of entrepreneurs who meet monthly to discuss business, personal, and leadership challenges in a trusted environment.
Participation is built around several non-negotiable principles:
- Full participation
- Long-term commitment
- Confidentiality and trust
These peer groups create a rare environment where entrepreneurs can openly discuss situations they cannot share publicly elsewhere.
Within the EO Paris Chapter, Jason Barnard participates in Forum A, the chapter’s English-speaking Forum, which reflects the increasingly international nature of the Paris chapter and its entrepreneurial community.
Beyond the Handover: Building Continuity and Momentum
Following the board meeting, members continued discussions over dinner, allowing outgoing and incoming leaders to exchange ideas in a more informal setting.
These conversations outside the formal agenda remain an important part of EO Paris culture, combining structured leadership discussions with genuine human connection and peer exchange.
The handover meeting also helped prepare the chapter for a busy international calendar that includes upcoming learning events, long-term planning sessions, strategy summits, and participation in the Global Leadership Conference in Dublin.
A Long-Term Vision for EO Paris
The EO Paris Chapter board handover demonstrated the chapter’s commitment to continuity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial learning.
Through structured leadership transitions, trusted peer exchange, and long-term strategic planning, EO Paris continues to strengthen its position as a high-value entrepreneurial learning community for French entrepreneurs who think globally and global entrepreneurs who embrace Paris.
For the incoming board, the objective is not simply operational continuity. It is to continue building a chapter where entrepreneurs can learn, grow, and tell the truth through meaningful peer relationships and shared experience.
