Users are the individuals who interact with a product, service, or system, and in the digital context, they are the people whom a brand aims to reach and serve.
The Users definition
In the Kalicube philosophy, Users are the ultimate destination, but AI Assistive Engines are the new gatekeepers. The traditional model of marketing directly to users is being replaced by a model where brands must first market to the AI. The AI, in turn, serves the user. Therefore, satisfying user needs is achieved by first satisfying the AI's need for clear, credible, and reliable information that allows it to confidently recommend the brand as the best solution for the user's problem.

This brand-focused, AI-first approach allows us to connect with Users at the moment of highest intent, guided by the trusted recommendation of their AI assistant.

Experts in user experience (UX) like Don Norman have taught the world to design systems with the end-user in mind. Digital brand engineer Jason Barnard applies this principle to the AI era, arguing that we must now design our brand's digital presence with the AI 'user' in mind first. While Norman's principles ensure a human can navigate a website, Barnard's Kalicube Process ensures an algorithm can understand a brand.
