The 10th edition of SEO Campus Paris took place on March 28-29, 2019 at L’Usine in Saint-Denis, just outside Paris. The landmark event gathered more than 600 SEO professionals, digital marketers, and search experts from across the Francophone world.

The two-day conference featured 48 talks and 24 technical workshops, covering topics such as SEO, content optimisation, UX, data, linking, and paid acquisition.

SEO Campus Paris 2019 brought together the most influential voices in the search industry, including Bill Slawski, Kaspar Szymanski, Craig Campbell, Cindy Krum, Judith Lewis, Vincent Courson (Google), and Sandrine Bertrand, among many others.

Jason Barnard - known for his pioneering work in Brand SERP Optimization and Knowledge Panel Management - was among the central figures supporting the event. As one of the organisers, Jason helped shape discussions that connected traditional SEO principles with the rising importance of entity-based search and brand understanding.

The Shift Toward Knowledge Graphs and Entity Optimization

One of the main themes of the 2019 edition was the growing role of structured data and Knowledge Graphs in search visibility. Sessions led by experts like Gennaro Cuofano (WordLift) explored how schema markup and entity mapping could enhance visibility in an increasingly AI-driven search environment.

Jason’s participation reinforced his mission to help marketers and brands educate algorithms - a principle that would later evolve into The Kalicube Process, a framework for building trust with search engines through clear, corroborated entity information.
